Borneo Jazz Festival is Back !! Book tiket flight cepat!

Borneo Jazz Festival is Back !! Borneo Jazz is now in its 10th year! To commemorate the occasion on May 8th and 9th, Tourism Malaysia Sarawak and Sarawak Tourism Board are organizing the reunion of bands. Of course they would love to have all of the performers back but that would be impossible so this time they bring some of the best that surely will excite us!

The line up for this year Borneo Jazz Festival are as follows:

1) Anthony Strong from United Kingdom
- hailed as "England New Jazz Superstar". Alamak! Kenapa aku tak perasan dia masa tree planting tadi?

2) Dirty Dozen Brass Band from New Orleans, USA
- A New Orleans, Louisiana, brass band which was establish in 1977 by Benny Jones togethe with members of the Tornado Brass Band. Satu lif, satu floor tapi malu nak mintak bergambar. Menyesal sekejap. Meletops semuanya uolls !

3) Jump4Joy from Sweden
- Popular high energy entertainment with a strong New Orleans flavour

4) Lluis Coloma from Spain
-One of the most demanded pianist in the Spain Blues scene.Boogie-woogie at its most inspired. Louis Coloma at the piano will just about dislodge all the keys. Aku suka muzik Amerika Latin. Tak sabarrrr nyerrr...!

5) Mo' Blow from Germany
- Energetic spicy groovy funk. The quartet, which the "Berliner Zeitung" described as one of the hottest clubs bands, has the groove in their blood.

6) Shafiee Obe & All The Best from Malaysia
- Our very own band will showcase contemporary jazz with a twist of Malaysian flavor added to Latin rhythms. Mesti best ni macam makan spaggetti bolognese boh chilli pepper hahaa... Malaysian flavour gituh baru umpphh..

7) Doodaddies from Australia
- The four pieces Chicago style blues band offering a solid selection of uplifting grooves covering swinging shuffles, soul, boongaloo, 'cry in your beer' blues and more.

8) The Nylon from Canada
- A capella jazz. They are well known for their dazzling harmonies and slick peformances.


WOW WOW WOWWWW.....!! Tak sangka iolss akan bersama-sama dengan mereka yang hebat ni (mak nak fengsan!) berborak dan makan-minum bersama. Oh my... Terima kasih tak terhingga kepada Sarawak Tourism Board yang menjemput ruggedmom.com ke konsert ini.

Apa lagi.. silalah buka www.malaysiaairlines.com, www.airasia.com, malindo ke.. fireflyz ke..book tiket ke Miri ni. Kalau Park City Everly Hotel tempat konsert Borneo Jazz Festival berlansung penuh Hotel Marriot ada, Hotel Meritz ada, hotel kecik kecik pun ada. Best pulak update blog kali ni, ada live band tengah practice kat bawah nun. Gempak punya sound system. Siang hari boleh pergi ke Brunei. Jangan lupa passport pulak. Selepas konsert berakhir boleh lajak ke Bario ke.. Mulu National Park ke..Gua Niah ke...

By the way pagi tadi kami ada Tree Planting Activity bersama Borneo Jazz performers, local agencies, volunteers from universities, members of Malaysia Nature Society, Sarawak Shell Berhad Miri, Sarawak Forestry Corporation, hoteliers, government officials and members of the media. Terpaksa mengaku kat news presenter dan dj terkenal ittew yang ai tak kenal dia ahakkkss... tv kat rumah i tu ada satu channel jek. Nasib baik kenal suara dia.

Untuk mendapatkan pokok setinggi ini bermula dengan menanam anak pokok dahulu

Maka berbondong-bondonglah kami menanam pokok

 

Sarawak Forestry Corporation telah menaja 60 batang anak pokok daripada dua spesis iaitu – Eugenia grandis (ubah laut / bungkang) dan Pometia pinnata (Kasai) untuk ditanam di Piasau Nature Reserve. PNR telah digazetkan pada tahun 2014 sebagai kawasan hutan simpandengan bantuan dan sokongan banyak pihak. Kawasan ini pun dulunya merupakan kuarters pekerja Sarawak Shell Berhad Miri.

Aku fefeling macam mak datin tanam pokok yang selalu keluar kat berita tu... secedok secedok hahaa.. sekali dia datang, let me help you, i have a garden bla bla...kihkihkih....

Yang seronoknya kali ini pokok-pokok yang kami tanam diletakkan coordinate so next time kalau kami nak melihat pokok yang kami tanam di protected area sekitar Piasau Nature Reserve ni haa..guna gps je lah. Dah tahun 2015 kan?

Aku memang minat muzik jazz, R&B, soul and I'm very happy to be brought here. Adakah Sheila Majid dan Anuar Zain akan turut serta pada 8-9 May nanti? Kita tungguuuu.... Okay, i'll behave kalau Nuar Jen ada nanti hehe..
